Trump Chooses Dimplex Electric Fireplaces
Dimplex electric fireplaces are selected for the residential condos and hotel suites in the new Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto®.
January 27, 2010
Cambridge, Ontario — In a move that reinforces the growing momentum of electric fireplaces in new construction, developer Talon International Development Inc. has chosen Dimplex fireplaces for the hotel guestrooms and suites as well as the condominium residences of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto® now rising above the city on Bay Street in Toronto.
Developers, architects, designers and builders are increasingly turning their attention to Dimplex electric fireplaces for the value they add to new construction and re-development projects. While looking every bit as good as combustion fireplaces, Dimplex electric fireplaces provide unmatched flexibility and ease of installation since no venting or gas lines are required. Builders gain total freedom of design and can complete units quicker and close them sooner with less trouble, less expense and less liability than other types of fireplaces. Noted builders such as Amacon, Fernbrook, Pinnacle International, Tridel and Pemberton Homes successfully use Dimplex electric fireplaces to increase the consumer appeal of their properties.
Growing consumer demand ensures a warm reception for the Dimplex electric fireplaces in the Trump project. Users appreciate the ease of use, clean and safe operation and efficiency that comes with these fireplaces. In addition, because the flame can be enjoyed with or without heat, users can relax with the glow of a fire even on a summer night. As a result, the growth in electric fireplaces has far outpaced other types of fireplaces over the last decade.
A variety of Dimplex electric fireplaces are being installed in the condominium and hotel suites. Trump International Hotel & Tower, the first Trump® branded property to be built in Canada, will soar 60 stories above the Toronto skyline when completed in 2011. Hotel guests will luxuriate in the 261 hotel rooms and suites on floors 11 through 29 while residents of the 118 condominium suites above will access their units from their own lobby on the 31st floor.
“The extremely versatile Dimplex electric fireplaces allow us to achieve exactly the look we want in each condominium, hotel room and suite in this world-class project. We are also very impressed with Dimplex and their sense of commitment and high level of service on this project”, affirms Inna Levitan, Director of Design and Procurement with Talon International Development Inc.
The construction of the building, designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects, is being managed by Lewis Builds Corporation. Interior design is being carried out by II by IV Design Associates Inc.
Martyn Champ, President of Dimplex North America Limited comments, “Dimplex electric fireplaces have been featured in many single and multifamily projects in cities across North America.
